The Raw Material Bin is designed to receive both unbroken and pre-broken raw materials from various sources and deliver them to the processing system at a controlled rate.

The bin is fabricated from 6 mm thick steel plate and incorporates one sloping side to assist material flow toward a 10 mm thick “U” trough multiple screw casing located at the base. The screw system regulates the discharge rate of raw material into the processing line.

Bins are available in capacities ranging from 5 to 100 tonnes depending on plant requirements. For outdoor installations, a hydraulically operated cover can be supplied to protect the contents from weather exposure. Drive configurations are selected to suit the specific application.
