Heavy-duty draining system designed to separate tallow and cracklings from batch cooker discharge. Description The Perc Pan is designed to receive cooked cracklings and tallow discharged from dry rendering batch cookers and efficiently separate the liquid and solid components.

Tallow drains through a perforated bottom plate into a collection pan below, while cracklings are conveyed away by a twin screw conveyor system. The unit is capable of receiving the full discharge load from single or multiple batch cooker operations.

Fabricated from 6 mm thick mild steel plate, the perc pan incorporates two screw conveyors located within the vee-bottom receiving troughs. These conveyors transport cracklings across the perforated casings toward the solids discharge point.

Drained tallow gravitates to a separate screw conveyor positioned beneath the twin solids screws. This screw conveys crude tallow to the liquid discharge outlet for further processing.
