Keith Screw Conveyors are designed for conveying a wide range of animal by-products and rendered materials throughout processing plants. Built for durability and consistent performance, these conveyors are manufactured using standard industrial flights mounted on steam pipe with machined mild steel bushes and drilled to suit the required coupling gudgeon. Drive end shafts are machined from mild steel and plug welded into the tube for strength and reliability.

A wide variety of flight configurations and pitches are available to suit different material handling requirements. Sectional flights are supplied as single units per pitch dimension, allowing flexible assembly and easy maintenance. Standard conveyor flights are suitable for general material conveying and are frequently used as feeders, particularly in inclined conveyors greater than 20°. Special flight arrangements can also be used for smooth material discharge, agitation of liquids, or rapid conveying of free-flowing materials.

Screw conveyors can be designed for handling lumpy materials from storage bins, providing uniform withdrawal across the entire feed opening. Sectional screw flights are available for self-assembly in a broad range of sizes and configurations.

Standard troughs are available in “U” sections, flanged or wrapped designs, with custom configurations manufactured to suit specific applications. Complete conveyor systems can be supplied including drives, elevators, multi-screw material handling bins, and other integrated components.
