Batch Cookers are designed for the batch processing of animal by-products in both open vent and pressure cooking applications. They are also suitable for hydrolysing materials such as feathers, wool and pig hair.

Cooker capacity varies depending on the selected model and configuration, with typical processing capacities ranging from approximately 3,500 kg to 6,000 kg per batch. A range of options is available to suit plant requirements, including inlet and outlet gates, positioning of the charging neck, and the necessary pipework, gauges, valves and control systems for specialised hydrolysing or pressure cooking operations.

A solid shaft option can be supplied in place of the conventional steam-heated shaft where required. All cookers are designed, manufactured and tested in accordance with AS1210 (1989) pressure vessel standards.
