The Pre-Hog is designed to break down large pieces of raw material prior to further size reduction processes, eliminating the need for preliminary cut-up. The unit is capable of processing up to 30 metric tonnes of raw material per hour.

The machine operates with a high-torque, low-speed design that allows it to handle a wide variety of feedstock while reducing the risk of damage from occasional metal contamination. Hardened machined teeth force material through rugged anvils using a controlled shearing action rather than impact or tearing.

A solid forged steel rotor fitted with renewable high-strength alloy teeth ensures durability and easy maintenance. Replaceable anvils made from high-strength alloy steel can be rotated 180° to provide a new cutting edge when worn.

The drive system incorporates a low-maintenance high-torque motor connected through a triple-reduction gear reducer directly coupled to the main shaft, providing reliable operation and energy-efficient performance.
