The Continuous Hydrolyser is designed to replace up to ten batch hydrolysing units while significantly reducing plant floor space, building costs and operating expenses. The system features minimal moving parts, low connected horsepower requirements and reduced labour requirements.

Safety is enhanced through an automatic shut-off gate valve positioned between the hydrolyser and feeder. The process is designed with a single feed point and a single discharge point and incorporates instrumentation and control systems that monitor and maintain critical process functions.

The hydrolyser operates with low steam consumption of approximately 0.3 pounds of steam per pound of material. A steam-saving discharge assembly maintains internal pressure and operating levels to improve overall process efficiency. Pressure vessel components comply with AS1210 standards and are rated for approximately 860 kPa operating pressure.
